This project is a renewed artistic interpretation of
A Dream in Red Mansions, realized through Madmapping 3d projection technology.

Rather than merely reproducing classical imagery, it seeks to translate the novel’s poetic sensibility into immersive spatial experiences shaped by light, shadow, and motion.


Concept Version1 -Passed.


My years of study in the Jiangnan region have revealed that both A Dream in Red Mansions and the classical Chinese garden are, at their core, lived philosophies—ways of sensing the world and inhabiting life.

By bringing these two cultural realms into dialogue, this project aspires to cultivate a deeper sensitivity to beauty and to inspire reflection on the aesthetics of existence.
